Hello Good People,
I recently went to Mukono to check on the progress of the classroom block and boy did i see progress of all kinds:-) The walls of the first two clssrooms are coming up and soon will be at the ringbeam level. It is the third room whose walls have not come up at all, but materials have been obtained and the third room shall soon be coming up as soon as possible.
I hope i can attach some of the pictures that i took...
More later and all the best.
Blessings from the Most High
PS: the other progress i found was grass growing wildly in the room:-)...reminds me we have to work on the floor next. Get your hands ready and some cash...we need to finsh the building so that some children may begin to experience some love.
WORDS FOR TODAY...

An Open Door is Our Open Home
Guys!!! we had such a great time at the orphanage last sato 19th April, 2008. Am so thankful to the Lord for the desire He has given us to serve Him through Charity work. Surely the Ckret of God's LOVE is being revealed to the people around us through all you guys. i cannot fail to compliment the care takers at the Family Home who minister the children daily. MAy the Lord richly bless them!!!
As for you Ckreterz, uumm!! big thumbs up the Lord must be pleased, i believe so!He could not be in any other mood other than happiness. those children never forget the love we are showing them through the small visits we make whenever God avails an opportunity to serve Him. And my prayer is that the same Spirit of service abides in the heart of each child then one day some one in the far ends of the world will be shown love and it will be because the members of Ckret service planted a seeds of love in the childrens' lives.
i want to give ma thanks to all the Ckret members wherever you are, your contributions, prayers and good thoughts towards the ministry keep us in high gear to advance the gospel of Jesus through acts of love.

Hospital Visit to Mulago
Hello People,
this past Saturday 15th March we went to Mulago for a hospital visit. We went to ward 3C, our aim being to encourage and pray with those that we found there...to let them know that they should always be hopeful even though things may not look so great from where they are at the moment. This ward has burn victims in one wing and people who have been in accidents in the other wing.
I went to the burn victims wing and here we found mainly children and a few adults who had been in "burn" accidents. With the childrens' cases it is mainly due to kerosene (tadooba) lamps turning over on their beds in the absence of an adult around, leading to their getting burnt. As for adults, there are a few cases, especially women of being burnt by a "rival" using hot oil/acid; something that is quite wrong and spiteful.
We talked to the parents of the children since most children are quite young, think 2-5 years and in some pain...we also chatted and prayed with the adults. We went along with some food stuffs and necessities like sugar, soap and toilet paper.
All in all it was an enlightening visit and I believe we all desire to go back and show them some more love:-) Many thanks to all those who contributed pyhsically and monetarily. May you be blessed more and more.
More information will be coming later. Take care,

MUKONO SHALL KNOW UR NAME!!!
brethren,
Mukama yebazebwe, i thank the Lord for your precious like ans especially for your eye sight that you can read this post. Just like heaven knows ur name, surely Mukono cannot hide away from your incomprehensible love. Heaven is backing us up in the Mukono project and it shall be done with the AMEN of Heaven. The "let it be done" that labourers of the Kingdom of Light whisper from Heaven is the engine that is propelling us on toward this great work to the Glory of our Daddy in Heaven.
On the otherhand, i believe the Lord is taking control of anyof our life situations, challenges or moments/days/nights/hour/minutes/seconds of happiness and joy. there is always something to give thanks for to the Lord.first of all Himself, Salvation, Love, then urself as well and many more things well known to you!! let this scripture be a blessing to you as you live in the Lords abundant and free flowing Grace and unconditional love!!!
'There is nothing you would do to make Jesus love you more or there is nothing you wouldn't that would make Him love you less' Jesus loves you no matter what you have done or not done, you better get used to that fact and start smiling Jesus' love is always there for us all!!
Isaiah 40:30-31
30. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31. But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint.

what are you running for?
Mukama Yebazebwe (praise the Lord)
Hello Guys,
We are off to Mukono this Saturday (1st March,2008) to check out the progress of the construction project. My prayer is that the Lord will avail to His work always. Read this joke/story and be blessed.
Your success in life's race depends on your reason for running. One of Aesop's fables tells of a dog that stumbled upon a hare. Swift and determined, the hound chased the hare over many miles. Finally, the hound gave up in exhaustion. Seeing the race, a by-stander praised the hero-hare. He mocked the loser. Indignantly the hound replied, "You forget that it is one thing to run for your dinner and another to run for your life."
Many people are "running for their dinner." They are smart and driven. Yet they are pursuing just one more job to pay the bills. Their highest goal is to provide for the body's needs and pleasures. "'Let us eat and drink,' you say, 'for tomorrow we die!'" While this quote sounds like a beer commercial, it actually comes from the Old Testament prophet Isaiah (22:13). He is describing a pervasive view of life in both his day and our own. As many discover the hard way, this worn out view of life is empty and meaningless.
DO NOT RUN FOR YOUR DINNER,BUT RUN FOR YOUR LIFE

John 14:24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
Mukono Phase I
Hello People,
This past Saturday 16th February 2008 a group of us went to Mukono to start on the classroom project. A short commentary of what transpired will be available soon. But suffice to say, it was a good start though my aching back seems to disagree:-)
I am not complaining though, it was good exercise. We began with the setting out and initial work of digging where the foundation is going to be. Some guys have been contracted to continue with the work. We go back on 1st March and i am sure it is not something you guys and gals want to miss out on.
PS: some snaps will also be coming....
Blessings.
